Long weekend time!! Woke up in our casa orange Airbnb (everything was orange) and walked along the street to the port of Sorrento. So gorgeous, and the views did not stop at all from there. Jessica and I took the ferry to Capri, and the ferry ride was amazing, the wind, the views, everything was perfect. We ate a nice breakfast (croissant and cappuccino) and met with Jibriel and Joseph. The free beach that came highly recommended from trusted sources (TikTok) was a 35-minute uphill climb. The walk was as nice as it could be, and the views were amazing. I just felt so lucky to be there the whole time. We get to the beach and I ofc put my goggles on and go swimming. So many cute fish, the water is clear and so nice, and nice rocks to jump off of. We spend a good amount of time there and then go eat. I got super fresh (I hope so, at least, it tasted fresh) seafood. We then walked to the Augustus Gardens, somehow even more uphill. The view of the open water with boats was so beautiful, I love the ocean so much. Very beautiful garden with nice flowers and sculptures. We got the mandatory lemon sorbet in the lemon and took a picture, then started hurrying back down to the post ( secret benefit of only going uphill to get somewhere is that the way back is all downhill). Jessica and I wander and get some souvenirs, then take the ferry back, another amazing ride with a breeze and views. We then went to eat at the Thai food again. So yummy again it was just amazing. Overall just such a relaxing day, and there are probably very few things I enjoy more than a day under the sun at the beach, swimming, and eating yummy food.
